Banat Kaur Bagga
Hi, I’m the Co-founder of 3 Art House, where I build and curate spaces for art, culture, and community to intersect. My work spans creative direction, programming, and storytelling. At heart, I’m an artist and a builder - the creative force behind projects that nurture emerging voices and bring people together through meaningful experiences.
My Story
My journey started at the intersection of art and education, in 2018, I founded The Acoustic Classroom, a program that helps children learn through movement and music. That initiative laid the foundation for what 3 Art House has become today: a home for creativity, collaboration, and cultural connection.
Alongside my work as a cultural curator, I’m also a Punjabi folk musician and lawyer with a master’s in IPR. I’ve toured extensively across Europe, the UK, and New Zealand, performing and representing contemporary Punjabi folk on global stages. My debut EP, Flish, was named one of Rolling Stone India’s Top 10 Releases of 2020, and my debut Punjabi folk single, Daachi Waaleya, received wide recognition and awards for its revivalist approach to sound and storytelling.
I’ve always been driven by curiosity and community, whether that’s through founding new projects, curating festivals, or performing music that celebrates our shared heritage. Over the years, I’ve built initiatives that merge art and impact, creating spaces where people can learn, express, and belong.
Outside of work, I love long walks, community dinners, and the kind of creative chaos that comes with building something meaningful from scratch. Everything I do, from songwriting to curation, begins with one simple idea: art can change how we live, if we let it.
