About the event

Every garment has a story worth preserving.

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to repair, refresh, and reimagine your clothes through simple mending and creative upcycling techniques. Whether it's a treasured piece with a tear, a garment that no longer feels exciting, or something tucked away in your wardrobe waiting for a second chance, this workshop will help you give it new life.

During the session, you'll learn:

• Basic hand-sewing stitches for everyday garment repairs

• Simple embroidery techniques to creatively cover stains, holes, and signs of wear

• Patchwork methods to strengthen and transform damaged areas

• Thoughtful approaches to visible mending and upcycling

• How to extend the life of your clothes through mindful care and repair

No prior sewing experience is required. All materials and tools needed for the workshop will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring one garment they would like to repair or upcycle during the session.
